KERF is a permanent member of the mission team. If you have questions, something isn’t clear, or you’re just curious to ask more but would rather avoid triggering a full-blown Reddit shitstorm, you can simply go chat with KERF. He probably knows more about the game than almost anyone. And honestly, he can be pretty fun to hang around with.

You can reach him easily by tapping the KERF button in the bottom right corner of the Foundryon website. But before you do that, you might as well enjoy a round of Solar Storm.

Solar Storm is an online game mode where you hit and smash the Cryptic Symbols KERF spawns regularly. If you’re quick enough to smash one, it redirects you to a new corner of the Foundryon Universe. Every new location hides a `GEM´. These are emoji-style symbols you can hit as well, except this time it actually counts as your score.

But back to KERF.

He’s around all the time. In the meantime he has even developed his own comic strip series, which gets posted regularly on our subreddit r/foundryon and over on Bluesky.

KERF is also, without question, the most competent member of Mission Control. /s off.

Seriously though. If there is anything you need to know about the Foundryon Universe, Space Port, Orbit Log, or the Foundryon Relic Hunt, just ask him. He might actually explain things in a way that makes more sense than what the rest of Mission Control comes up with.

And yes, he knows about Solar Storm too. Just don’t try to squeeze out of him where the GEMs are hiding. He’s not allowed to tell anyone.
